About Us

The Employers’ Council (TEC) provides business owners and managers with information, consultation and representation in employment and labor law matters.

The Employers’ Council was founded as a successor to the Sacramento Valley Employers’ Council (SVEC) which served valley employers since 1963. TEC was created in 1997 and represents companies with as few as 5 employees or more than 700 employees, located throughout California and in every area of business/industry. Our members are diverse but share a common factor . . . employees. Although they are different, they all benefit from the expertise offered by The Employers’ Council in dealing with employment related issues. Most problems encountered by members can be avoided with timely advice before mistakes are made.

TEC’s clients include front-line supervisors and middle managers, to senior executives and owners in small to multi-million dollar organizations. The council is comprised of businesses in wide variety of industries including:

  • Architects
